Swimming is self-care
Self-care gets buried when “life gets in the way”. Do what brings you joy!
For Morgan, swimming is self-care. Morgan is a registered clinical counsellor, a mother of four young children, and a former competitive age-group swimmer.
After a 20-year-long break, she just needed a desire to swim, some courage to (re)start, and a family that supports her. It hasn’t been easy to train 1-2 times per week AND compete in her busy life, but she’s been crushing it at the pool, at home, and at her clinic! 🙌
“Getting into the pool has been really helpful to add to the balance. It adds a layer of chaos to our already busy life, yet it’s nice to have some sort of, you know, self-care interests for me.” @morgansvanvliet
